The team
Every camera guide here is written by a working photographer.
We're Halvor and Philip — two Norwegian photographers with very different working niches. Halvor shoots sports professionally; Philip shoots real estate and motor boats. Between us we know Canon, Sony, Nikon, Fujifilm, Sigma, and a lot of older glass that doesn't autofocus. We write the guides ourselves — no contractors, no AI mills, no “best of 2026” lists where the author has never used the cameras.

Why this matters for your camera buying decision
Most camera review sites in 2026 are either AI-generated content mills or affiliate marketers who haven't actually shot the cameras they recommend. We can't fix the whole web, but we can promise that everything on The Frame Finder is written by one of us — based on either active professional use, hobby use, or deep research where we're honest about not owning the gear ourselves.
Our top three cameras across all guides reflect what we'd actually buy. The compromise tier reflects what works for tighter budgets. There's no “sponsor of the month” tier.
